Refunds

Refund & Cancellation Policy

Plain rules. No surprises. Cancel anytime.

Effective 2 May 2026
Summary
  • No free trial. The Free tier is unlimited and is how you evaluate Finite.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew at the same cycle and price unless cancelled before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation stops the next charge. Your paid access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • Mid-period charges are non-refundable from TournaHub Solutions Pvt. Ltd.. Apple, Google, and (on web) Stripe may grant goodwill refunds at their discretion under their own policies.

1. No free trial

Finite does not offer a time-limited free trial. Our Free tier (death counter, basic goal tracking, and social-media monitoring) is available indefinitely so you can evaluate the product without time pressure. Pro and Max are paid subscriptions that begin charging immediately on purchase and renew automatically at the end of each billing period.

2. How billing works

Finite subscriptions are sold through three billing channels:

  • iOS (App Store): Apple charges your Apple ID payment method via RevenueCat, which validates the receipt with Apple. We never see your payment instrument.
  • Android (Google Play): Google charges your Play account payment method, again validated via RevenueCat.
  • Web: Stripe processes the charge on our behalf and stores your card. We receive only the last four digits and the brand for display.

The store you purchase through is the merchant of record. Receipts, tax invoices, and refund decisions are issued by that store under its own policy.

3. How to cancel

Cancellation stops the next renewal charge. You keep paid access until the end of the period you have already paid for. There is no penalty for cancelling and you can re-subscribe later without losing your account.

  • iPhone / iPad: Settings → Apple ID (your name) → Subscriptions → Finite → Cancel Subscription. Or open Finite and go to Settings → Subscription → Manage.
  • Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Finite → Cancel. Or use Settings → Subscription → Manage in Finite.
  • Web: open Settings → Subscription on finiteapp.pro, then click Manage in Stripe. The Stripe customer portal handles cancellation, plan changes, and invoice download.

4. Refunds for the current period

TournaHub Solutions Pvt. Ltd. does not issue refunds for the current billing period when a user cancels mid-cycle. This is the standard subscription model used by virtually every paid app you already use: your access continues until the period ends, and you simply are not charged again.

5. Goodwill refunds from Apple, Google, or Stripe

The store that processed your purchase owns the refund decision. We honor whatever they grant.

  • App Store: request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (within ~90 days of purchase, at Apple’s discretion).
  • Google Play:open the order in your Play Store account and choose “Request a refund.” Refunds within 48 hours are typically automatic; beyond that, Google decides.
  • Stripe (web): email us at pritam@tournahub.com and we will review on a case-by-case basis.

6. EU / UK 14-day right of withdrawal (web only)

Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (and corresponding UK regulations), consumers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract for digital services. Finite on the web honors this right.

However, under Article 16(m) of the Directive, the right of withdrawal is waived once the digital service has begun with the consumer’s prior express consent. By starting paid use of Finite (signing in, accessing Pro/Max features, or using AI goal validation) within the 14-day window, you expressly consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

If you have not used any paid feature, email pritam@tournahub.com within 14 days of purchase to request a full refund.

7. Failed payments

If a renewal charge fails (expired card, insufficient funds, etc.), your subscription enters a 7-day grace period during which paid features remain available and the store retries the charge. If the charge is still not paid at the end of grace, the subscription auto-cancels and your account drops back to Free. No retroactive charge is made; you can re-subscribe whenever you want.

8. Plan changes (upgrade, downgrade, cycle change)

  • Pro → Max upgrade: takes effect immediately. The store credits the unused portion of your Pro subscription against the new Max charge (proration).
  • Max → Pro downgrade: takes effect at the next renewal. You keep Max access until the paid period ends.
  • Cycle changes (monthly ↔ 6-month ↔ annual): take effect at the next renewal. No double-billing.

9. Disputes and chargebacks

If something is wrong with your subscription, please email us at pritam@tournahub.com before initiating a chargeback. We respond within one business day. Most issues are resolvable directly.

Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first may result in account suspension while we investigate, since they are typically a signal of fraud or compromised payment instruments.

10. India — grievance officer

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, our designated grievance officer is:

  • Name: Pritam Pawar
  • Email: pritam@tournahub.com
  • Response SLA: 30 days from receipt, as required by DPDP § 9.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. The revised version will be posted at https://finiteapp.pro/refunds with an updated “Effective” date. Material changes will be announced by email or in-product notice before they take effect.
